Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday & Team A Challenge #18

Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday Peeps...

I hope you are all having a great week so far...as you may already know, I am now off on my jolly hols and I have scheduled my posts, so I hope Blogger behaves itself :0))))

Before I move on to the challenge, I would like to share one of the new release images with you TEDDYBEA_143 Horse Champion...

I had a special request to ask Gayle, due to my mum winning the national horse and carriage championships...I asked Gayle if she would draw Bea in her equestrian gear with a trophie and Bea in her horsey carriage and this is one of the two images!!

HOW COOL IS THAT!!

How many other companies would design an image for you?? If you have any special requests for an image using Teddy Bo or Teddy Bea, why not get in touch with Gayle via the Teddy Bo & Co website and see what surprises await you :0))))

Thank you so much Gayle, I can't wait to make the card with the 'Horse Champion' for the Horse Champion...LOL!!!

Right...now onto the second exciting event of the day...the new challenge for the next two weeks is:

Teddy Bo Challenge #18 - Say it with flowers
which ends at Midnight UK time on Sunday 18th September

TEAM A are hosting this fortnight's challenge. So without further ado, here are the fabby Team A DT girlies with team leader Colette at the healm :0)))))

Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday & "Happy Birthday"!

Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday to all you lovely peeps,

I'm loving these little bears sooooo much!! Can't you tell! :0))))
There are some brand new images each week, so why not have a little lookie here...

My card that I would like to share with you today is again inspired by our challenge:

I have used the oh so sweet NEW TEDDYBEA_139 image coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador...used dabber paint around the edges, great for softening the edges of the black card stock which has also been embossed with pink stars but they are hard to see...

Created 'Happy Birthday' in the balloon and sentiment "Here's looking forward to your Birthday" on my computer...stamped out the stars in black ink, embossed them and painted with pink liquid pearls, added loads of glitter...

Added Stickles to Teddy Bea and created a star border with pink distress powder, added flowers, butterfly and pearls from liquid pearls and HEY PRESTO!!

Card Recipe:

Stamps: New digi TEDDYBEA_139, Magnolia 'Star' & 'Stars Border'
Ink: Black Versafine, Clear Versamark, White Ranger Dabber Paint, Pink Liquid Pearls
Colouring medium: Prisma Pencils blended with Sanador
Papers: Magnolia Papers, Black Cardstock, White Smooth CardStock
Embellishments: Pink & White WOC Flowers, Wooden Butterfly, Pink Seam Binding,
Tools: Heat Tool, Computer
Other: Pinflair Glue, Pink Distress Powder, Stickles, Crystal Glitter, Quickie Glue Pen

I hope you will join in and have a go and most of all... have some fun :)

The Design Team Call is now closed, so good luck to all those who entered :)

What are your favorite TV shows at the moment?? X Factor?? Holly Oaks?? Top Gear?? Maybe you have a favourite film???

Get creative and join in our challenge to show off your favorite TV/Film inspiration.

Here is my DT inspiration for you:

Now, I know you have seen these little critters before but they fitted perfectly for my chosen TV show!

I designed the mobile phones on my computer and then printed them out onto shrink plastic...there is an X-Box game controller too and I added them to my charms...

There's a TV and more varities of mobile phones...

The background papers I made from Whimsy Stamps 'Time Flies' and used DCWV glitter paper, white card candy, silver ribbon and distressed the edges with 'Weathered Wood' and then linked up all my little charms onto a sliver plated chain...

Can you guess which show I have chosen?

Here's a little game for you, fancy winning an extra prize...Lynne from the Craft Den has kindly sponsered this prize and will give the lucky winner a £10 gift voucher to spend at the
Craft Den store, if you can correctly guess the TV program :0)))))

...
how cool is that :)

If you are not familiar with British TV...you should still be able to guess ''the show''... I hope...from all the little 'gadgets' on my charms :0)))

TEDDY BO TUESDAY CHALLENGE #17
BLACK & WHITE & ONE COLOUR OF YOUR CHOICE

This challenge ends on Sunday 4th September

TEAM B are hosting this fortnight's challenge and that includes me! Here are the fabby Team B DT girles with our team leader Tammy :0)))))

Tammy - our captain
Angie
Antoinette (me!!)
Heather
Helle
Nela
Nicole
Pops

I have had alot of fun with this challenge and have made a few DT inspirations for you over the next two weeks to get you in the mood :0)))) Here is the first one to feast your eyes over...

I have used black, white and a touch of pink...

I have used a new Teddy Bea image TEDDYBEA_138, who is proving very popular with the girlies at Teddy Bo Towers!!! It is difficult to see but I have coloured Bea with a pink shimmer paint and stickles on her dress, used Glossy Accents on her hat and added glitter and pink distress powder...

I made a black background with clear embossing powder, I love this effect on black cardstock, the designs really pop out and are so shiny... used MS around the page flower punches, a daisy punch and layered image on a nestie die cut layer...

Also added white pearls to the little flower centers...and created the sentiment from my computer...

I hope you like my card :0))))

I will be back later with the new Anything Goes Challenge #48 "Inspired by TV"
...hope to see you then :) xxx

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #124

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

Just to let you know that for the Sentimental Sundays challenge, you will need to scroll down to the earlier post :0))))) Thank you :) xxx

Thank you so much for joining me again for the second great belated Sunday challenge :)

The challenge for this week is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #124

The Cupcake Inspiration image this week is:

What project or card will you come up with from this picture?

Here is my interpretation:

Using these Majestic Rose Clear Peg stamps, I have created the borders and the center panel for the main flowers to sit on and I have used silver mirri card to matt and layer... the colours are purple and pink with green folige... it is very hard to see but the white spaces on the card are actually strips of 'Frost' glitter...I used double side tape and then sprinkled the glitter to create perfect strips...they are there... honest :0))))

The sentiment says 'CHERISH each passing moment' and is from the Whimsy Tickets stamps which I have cut out to create just a simple layered sentiment onto silver mirri card...

The 3D flowers are from the Flower Expert CD set and I have shaped them and used 3D glue, then sprinkled with the 'Snow' glitter, which you can not miss...LOL :0))))
I have added green flower soft amongst the tiny flowers...

I hope you will come and play along with this fabby challenge which ends Midnight EST on Saturday 27th August.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and I hope you will join me again for Tuesday's Teddy Bo Challenge and new releases and Anything Goes challenge:)

Have a great day everyone :0)))))

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving your comments! It really makes my day special!!

Sentimental Sundays Challenge #69 Birthday

Good Morning to my lovely peeps!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I'm a little late posting the normal Sunday challenges, it has been a mad, busy time and the days are merging into weeks, where is the time going!!! :0))))

Anyhoo, without further ado, here is the first of the two Sunday challenges...

Sentimental Sundays Challenge #69 and the theme this week is 'Birthday'

Here is my DT card to inspire you, I hope :)

Goodness, what is happening with my photography of late....uummm... the pic should be very pink and sparkly...

I have used gold mirri card for matting and have stamped with Majestic Gerbera Garden Clear Peg stamps... These are tiny clear stamps and they enable you to create border and framing effects and you can also decorated the edges of envelopes etc. Also in the kit is the tiny 'Bee' stamp, which is totally adorable...I think you will 'bee' seeing alot more of him in the future :0)))))

I used a black liner pen to draw the trail of the bee and added glitter to the flowers too, the main 'Best Wishes' stamp is from Clarity stamps and the circle sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Sentimental Sundays Challenge #69 and the theme this week is 'Birthday'

So, I hope I have inspired you to come and play along with this fabby challenge which ends Midnight EST on Saturday 27th August.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will join me again later for another great belated Sunday challenge for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge blog :)

Have a great Monday :0)))))
