Finished this card earlier on this evening but never got a chance to take photos until now. The lighting is terrible but did the best in the light available...
I have entered the Magnolia Down Under Challenge #87, they are celebrating their 2nd year and are also having a blog hop! If you haven't already had a chance to look, click here for the challenge which finishes Saturday 19 March.
The theme for the challenge is TWO - two of anything (two images, two different DP, two flowers - or any combination or groups of two items you can come up with)!
My two's are 2x Magnolia images, 2x flowers, 2x brads, 2x ribbon strips, 2x matts with 2x layers, 2x sentiments (one on the front and one inside the card).
I have used Prisma pencils and distressed with Antique Linen, used DCWV papers, brad and matts. embellished with Prima flowers and butterfly.
This card I am going to give to my partner Gary to give to his mum... I'm sure she will like it!
Thank you for taking the time to look :)
Hugs, Annie xXx

Blogging IS Addictive LOL!!!
Hello again to all crafty bloggers! Hope you are well!
Well, you were not wrong when you say that blogging is addictive!
Can't belive it is already Wednesday, I only set up on Saturday!! Time is flying......
There is also so much to see and learn from the other blogs, there isn't enough time in the day LOL! Yet alone working, finding the time to craft at all, learning the IT that goes along with the blog and just generally keeping up with things!!! Phew, it all crazy and exciting at the same time! xXx
Thank you to those lovely crafters who have taken the time to visit me and leaving your kind messages from Craftingranny's Card Shack http://craftingranny.blogspot.com and a big hearty 'Thank You' to Carol for your kind words and encouragement! It is indeed a scary time but a very exciting one. I will be visiting you all, so please bear with me. I feel like I am in a maze at the mo!!
CHALLENGES...
In the spirit of things, I have managed to create a couple of cards for a couple of challenges that I came across. This is also something I have not done before...so there are massive learning curves going on this week...
The first one is from the 'Friday Sketcher Challenge #145' http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com. I am sorry but I can't remember who's blog I was on when I 'stumbled' upon it, I will take note next time :)
I followed the sketch and made a topper with one of those little cotton bunnies, sorry to keep using them but I am addicted to them!! They are sooo cute and lovely to colour with my pencils. I have not been converted to copics or promarkers...yet...I find I have more control with pencils but I have still found that I have gone outside the lines...OOPS!!
Sorry Carol ... I know you hate gold and brown ... lol!!!

CraftinGranny's Card Shack: Blog-Anniversary Candy Announcement
CraftinGranny's Card Shack: Blog-Anniversary Candy Announcement: "http://craftingranny.blogspot.com/p/blog-anniversary-candy.html"
'Lil Sister's March Birthday Card
Hello and welcome back...
I would like to share with you a birthday card that I made for my 'little' sister Ashley for her March birthday. Not only have I decorated the inside of the card to match the outside, I have also made a box and decorated it for the card to go inside...
I have used a gorgous, cute bunny stamp from Sugar Nellie's range and coloured with Primsa pencils, these were really nice to use, quite waxy and smooth to blend over the card. Also added large flowers, a heart charm and LOTV sentments, adding matts using my Slice machine, which is a dream to use and is so light and portable. I love using it...
For the inside of the card, I made a couple of tags using embossing folders and a Martha Stewart punch and distress with distress inks Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen. The paper I used are from The Glitter Stack from DCWV - gorgous thick and glittery papers.
Finally, I created a handmade box and decorated with wet embossed flourishes and used my heat gun. The card fits nicely inside...
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my creation as much as I had fun making it.
Until my next post...HAPPY CRAFTING!!!
Hugs,
Annie xXx
