Hello Bloggy Friends!
I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend...I know I am!!
OMGOSH...it has been AGES since I last shared a card with you...I have a few lined up, so please watch this space, they will be a coming thick and fast...lol...
You may want to grab yourself a cuppa, as this is quite a long post…lol…So on to today's project...
Teddy Bo is so adorable...I just love him to bits...wouldn't it be great to have a cuddly toy Teddy Bo...ummmmm...(me daydreaming...lol)...or is that just me :)
My outer shell may look '40 something' but inside there's still the little kiddy wanting to play...that's why crafting is such great fun!!!
Anyhoo, moving on...lol...I want to share with you this gorgeous Teddy Bo image
'On His Tod' 002 that I used to create this star shaped card for Fathers Day. I am also entering in the
Teddy Bo Tuesday Challenge and DT call. I have also used 2 other Teddy Bo images:
Can You See Me 009 & I 'Heart' You 013.This card was certainly a challenge, I can tell you...lol! Trying to decide on what shape to use was a challenge in itself...lol...but I am pretty happy with what I came up with and I really enjoyed it once I knew what I was doing...lol! There are lots of elements to this project...so I will give you a breakdown without trying to bore you to much...lol!
I used DCWV papers with a bright pattern with blue, red and green and stuck to those colours throughout the project. Coloured in Teddy Bo with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador. The circles are layered up and Teddy Bo sits on top...proudly!
Used my 'Slice' for the circles and the star shapes of different sizes. Used 'Firebrick' DI on the main card elements and 'Brushed Corduroy' DI on the two tags. I printed 2 lots of
Teddy Bo Can You See Me 009 onto white shrink plastic and then coloured them in. Also hanging next to them are two stars, all the hanging elements are attached with silver plated chain. The two sentiments where printed from my computer and distressed with Fire Brick DI.
Used Rock Candy Crackle Paint on the stars...
I also made two gift tags to go with the card using
Can You See Me 009 & I 'Heart' You 013. Teddy Bo images.
For Teddy Bo’s magnifying glass, I used glossy accents to highlight the glass and did the same to Teddy Bo’s 3 hearts to give them a lovely glossy finish.
Well that’s about it for this creation…finally…lol…thank you so much for bearing with me and I hope you enjoyed your visit!
