Anything Goes Challenge Blog #41 Bingo Board

Hello Everyone, I hope you are having a good week and enjoying life!

I have a fabulous challenge to share with you this week from the Anything Goes Challenge Blog #41 Bingo Board

The lovely DT girls have some great inspiration for you and I hope you will pop along and join in the fun. We will also be having a birthday Blog Hop on 31st May as Anything Goes Challenge Blog is celebrating it's 1st year and there is some super candy to be won...so look out for the blog hop coming your way soon...!

Click on each of the DT names and check out their blog, you will find lots of beautiful creations!

Cheryl
Deb
Kathryn
Katy
Lynne (owner)
Sandra
Sue
Tamara

So the theme for the next two weeks is the Bingo Board and the challenge works by you chosing 3 of the elements in a straight or diagonal line from the following 'Bingo Board':

I have chosen to go straight down the middle and used:

Distressing, Flowers and Embossing

These being my favourite combos!

I have had to use this oh so cute Teddy Bea image from Teddy Bo & Co, I just can't help myself at the mo, these are so adorable!

I coloured 'Teddy Bea - April Showers' image with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador...

Just so sweet, peeking out from under her brolly...

I used Brushed Corduroy distress ink around the edges of the papers and used it on the sentiment, also adding shrink plastic hearts...

Used gold embossing powders and a flourish stamp around the edges of the card and added a metal flower charm brad and a 'Just for You' little star charm...

Added more flowers and glitter...

Even more flowers, glitter and added an embossed Magnolia Love border...

Used Magnolia hearts stamps and coloured, also co-ordinating the inside with the front of the card...

...and of course a matching embossed with flourishes presentation box...

I hope that has encouraged you to come along and play the Bingo Board Challenge and check out the DT girls blogs, which can be found on the side bar of the anything goes challenge blog...

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving your comments! It really makes my day special!!

  8. Love those colours together, a stunning card. The box is great too. I need to make more boxes for my cards, by the time we put all our flowers etc on, there's no room in a envelope. Love Sandra x

  11. Hi Annie - just seen you were panicing about the blog hop - I've just done my first one with Wags n Whiskars, pop over to their blog if you want to check it out. Now they didn't have the letter thing (which I'm not entirely sure about myself!) but the rest was basically the same.
You shouldn't really have to do that much as Tamara will organise the ins & outs of it all, but as far as I understand it you'll have to:

    1) Post your card as normal with the theme for that week. You'll probably be better scheduling it which you can choose as an option when publishing post.

    2) Cut & paste the order of the hop, when they have been linked which I'm guessin Tamara will do for the AG blog anyhow.

    3) Maybe reitterate the rules of the hop for anyone whos just come to your blog & not started at the beginning.

    4) Remind them to comment on all the DT's blog & maybe prompt them to comment on yours.

    5) Give out your letter, now this is the bit I'm not too sure how it will work myself, but I'm guessin we'll say something like "So my letter is 'Y' when you have all the letters from everyones site - it'll spell a word" The other thing I'm not sure of is where they'll put the answer, but I'm guessin it may be back at the AG blog.

    6) Link through to the next person in the hop. When you first write your post just link to their blog, then when everyone post is up & running on that Tue, edit your post to change the link to their actual post, so when they add other posts, the link still gets them to the right place.

Don't want to come across of any kind of excpert cause I defo ain't! but just thought I'd tell you what I'd leanred from my first hop this week.
Hope that help hun & don't worry - it'll all become clear! - the main thing is schduling the post on time. If I'm talkin rubbish about any of it - then we'll have to both suss it out together! haha,
    Bye for now,
    Deb.xxx
