Recycling…now there’s a challenge…

Hello bloggers … Happy Easter to you all … and what a Good Friday it is too! Hope you are enjoying your hot cross buns and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Easter Eggs on Sunday…..uuummmm chocolate!!!

I was busy last night finishing off this card for the next 3 challenges … I can’t believe how addictive all these challenges are. I was very nervous and didn’t have a clue how to go about entering challenges and now I can’t stop … still nervous though …lol …

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey through blogland and has decided to follow me … if I haven’t stopped by to say hello yet, I am on my way and hope to visit you shortly … it’s been so busy!! I have now been lucky enough to become a DT member for ‘Anything Goes’ challenge blog and have been visiting LOADS of gorgeous blogs, it’s so amazing to see all the talented crafters who after a busy day at work and looking after the kids and hubby, still find the time to create such artwork … I salute you!!!

Anyhoo, I have entered this card into 3 more challenges…

Moving along with the times – Recycle

Spoonful of Sugar – Let’s Celebrate

Try it on Tuesday – A bit of upcycling

This one wracked my brains ... after spending loads on crafting goodies ... I had to rumage through my recycle bin ... lol ... I found some bubble wrap, brown paper packaging (from all the crafts I have bought!) end of roll tin foil, some left over garden twine and a cute HM image that I had coloured in an age ago!!

The inside to compliment the front of the card...

...bubble wrap coloured with alcohol inks...

'Chocolate' buttons made from brown paper packing and garden twine with added stickles...

...Uuummmm...I LOVE chocolate! ...

...tin foil flowers coloured with alcohol inks...

Card Recipe:

Ranger Alcohol Inks: red & purple
MS border punch
H&S sentiment ‘Celebrate the day’
HM stamped image
Bubble wrap, brown paper packaging, tin foil, garden twine…

Have a great Easter weekend!!

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving your comments! It really makes my day special!!
