Elizabeth Bell’s Beautiful Little Rapunzel…Really Sweet…

Well, didn’t William & Catherine make a sweet couple and that dress… so understated but she looked so beautiful in it, they both handled the day really well (considering that 2 billion people were watching!) and looked so good together. I loved the little glances that they gave to each other too…William & Harry did Diana proud!!

Hope you enjoyed the Royal occasion…it was definitely a day to remember!!

Anyhoo, onto today’s little creation…I have made another Elizabeth Bell card with the gorgeous ‘Little Rapunzel’ image…I just love this funky retro image, the detail on her top is really pretty…

I based the style of the card on the following challenge sketch:
Belles ‘n Whistles Challenge – Easter Monday Sketch

Beautiful 'Little Rapunzel' coloured and blended with Prisma pencils & Sansador...

The flowers on her top have also been 'stickled'...

WOC flowers have been 'Stickled' too adding lots of sparkle and a lovely dangling butterfly charm...

The inside of the card compliments the front of the card and of course there's a box to match!!

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving your comments! It really makes my day special!!

One Sugar Nellie Adorable ‘Faith’ and 2 Challenges…phew….

…I have to be honest…I struggled with this one…let me explain why…

I planned to enter this card into 3 challenges but one of them ended last night and it was the trickiest combo challenge too – Purple and Green + Sketch!!

Trying to find spots and stripes with purple and green in my mountain of DP papers was near on impossible (typical…why is it that you never have enough of crafty bits when you need them…good excuse to buy more I say!!) but this was the best I could come up with for that combo…

…This Adorable ‘Faith’ certainly lives up to her name…such a fabulous image to colour in…I hope I have done her justice :)

These are the 2 challenges:

Craft Your Passion Challenge #54 - You've been spotted (use dots)

and

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Spots & Stripes

Such a sweet image of 'Faith' from Sugar Nellie... includes a sentiment 'Happy Birthday'...

The inside of the card compliments the front of the card...

Oh no….not another Teddy Bo…

I’m afraid so…how could I not…he is just so adorable…reminds me of my son when he was little…not that he was brown and covered in fur…but has a laid back, carefree, sweet attitude!! As it is such a beautiful day, I think it is very fitting and just perfect to use.

I am entering this little Teddy Bo into the Teddy Bo Challenge 8 “Tag It” and Simon Says “Emboss It” Challenge

I have embossed around the edges of the card with gold embossing powder and used my cuttlebug folder to emboss with Swirls, which I distressed with Walnut Stain, Brushed Corduroy & Weathered Wood, I made the star buttons with my faithful Slice machine and 'Stickled' them. Teddy Bo has been coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with sansador. I have also added some chocolate card candy...uummm...

Inside of the card, I have made a couple of tags which a special message can be written on and used my cuttlebug folder again to emboss with Swirls, which I distressed with Walnut Stain, Brushed Corduroy & Weathered Wood...

I have added a sentiment 'Dreaming of Everything Wonderful for You'...

Handmade stars and butterfly charm...

Teddy Bo 'chilling out' in the sunshine...

And of course a handmade box to match...

Card Recipe:

A sweet ‘Teddy Bo’ digi image coloured with Prisma watercolour pencils
DCWV design papers
LOTV Sentiment
Gold embossing powder
Cuttlebug ‘Swirls’ embossing folder

What better way to start my DT journey than with this cutie ‘Teddy Bea’ with the Pink and Brown Challenge #39 – Colour Challenge. I hope you will pop by and join in, we have already some beautiful awe inspiring cards and projects to get your creative juices flowing!

To help with the inspiration, I have created this lovely little ‘Teddy Bea’ who has had a little visit from a ladybird friend and smelling the gorgeous flowers on this beautiful Spring day.

I have embossed the edges of the image and the card with pink & brown ink using embossing powder and a flourish stamp.

A lovely little flower charm from my stash...

Gorgeous little Teddy Bea coloured with Prisma pencils...

A little friend comes to visit...

The inside compliments with the front of the card...

I have also made a box and decorated with pink flourishes for the card to snugly fit into...

The card recipe is:

Coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador
Papers and charm are from my stash
Martha Stewart Flower border punch
