TWO challenges for Tuesday...

Good morning All!

Hope you are all having a fabby week so far...I have two challenges to share with you today :)

Tuesday means TWO challenges and they are both on for TWO WEEKS!

In no particular order is the first challenge:

TEDDY BO TUESDAY CHALLENGE #16 ♫♪LOVE IS IN THE AIR ♫♪

This week it is TEAM A's turn to tantislise you with their creations for this great challenge! So please take a look as there is no end to the talent to inspire you!!

There is only one little rule: you must use a Teddy Bo and Co image and to follow the theme ♫♪ LOVE IS IN THE AIR ♫♪

The overall winner gets to choose TEN Teddy Bo and Co images, the two runners up can pick an image each. This challenge runs until Sunday 21st August Midnight UK time.

Here is my DT card which I hope will give you the inspiriation to play along and have some fun!

I coloured this cute House Mouse image with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador, I gold embossed the corners with a Magnolia Love border stamp; the flowers, lace, seam binding are from WOC, hearts; charm, gem and hat pin from my stash; used a Magnolia 'Happy Birthday' stamp and lilic Bazzill card stock and papers from my stash.

It's Sunday, so that means TWO challenges :)

Good Morning to my lovely peeps!

Hope you have enjoyed your weekend so far! Every Sunday we have TWO challenges:

The first up is Sentimental Sundays Challenge #67 and the theme this week is 'Flowers'

Now this is your chance to use ALL of your Wild Orchid flowers and go CRAZY!! Lol!

But I have instead gone for a simple monochromatic look which I find also very elegent!

The image is a white foam stamp I have had for ages but hardly ever used, the leafy border is a tiny Clarity Stamps stamp, the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

It is hard to see in the photo but I made a layer for the image from gold heat embossing and then matted that layer on to a layer I distressed in Walnut Stain, as are the leaves and image. The gold line borders are peel offs and I matted the sentiment onto gold mirri card.

Here is my interpretation:

The pink is not showing so well in this photo but it is alot darker in real life :)

The image is from DRS Designs and I made the background layers: The base layer has been distressed with Walnut Stain and gold embossed with my leafy border stamp with touches of Gold Stickles here and there, the next layer has been lightly distressed with Walnut Stain and stamped and embossed with a Dawn Bibby flower stamp in pink and blue in Brilliance Dew Drop inks, which I then used water and brush to colour in the flowers with the same inks and added stickles to. The flip flops have coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador, the blue flowers have been glazed with glossy accents and I used gold embossing powder again for the smaller details. The sentiment is from Whinsy Stamps and I used my nestie circle and eyelet circle.

Anything Goes Challenge #46 Pick of the Bunch - Flowers

Good afternoon lovely peeps...and what a beautiful day it is too...

Perfect for the card I have made for the Anything Goes Challenge #46 Pick of the Bunch - Flowers! sponsered by the Craft Den

It has been a very hectic time for me at the moment and I am a little late in posting my card but there is still oodles of time to join in our FLOWERY two week challenge! I really enjoyed making this card, as it always great to be able to load your card up with flowers and this challlenge makes that the perfect excuse to use them, the more the better!! :)

So, here we go with the inspiration...the sun was shining, so I took the photo outside and it really makes the card sparkle but also casts a few shadows too...

Well, there are flowers galore! I've used Magnolia Roses backing paper which has been layered on to cardstock which has been distressed around the edges with Brushed Corduroy, I also used Rangers White Dabber paint and a Joanna Sheen Ivy pattern stamp and embossed with gold around the edges...used the Magnolia Beautiful Tilda and coloured her with pink and brown Prisma pencils and blended with Sansador...

Added PLENTY of Stickles...LOL!

These flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts...


A heavily Stickled metal butterfly charm, which I bought on eBay... you can also see the gold embossed Ivy leaves too...

More beautiful flowers also Stickled and a pretty heart pin...


The digi sentiment is from Cuddley Buddley and I have used a stick glue around the edges and sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heated...
